Bulbasaur by Niwa-Katuki Bulbasaur by Niwa-Katuki
Bulbasaur from Pokemon

He is aboput 3.5cm tall.
It took me 2.5 hours~ 3hours.

He is one of my favorite Pokemon character. Since I was in ... will public school. My friends asked me lots of time to make all kinds of Pokemon character especially Pikachu (I don't want to even remember how many times I made Pikacyu over and over and over...). lol

Although I made this Bulbasaur last year the photo is a recent one I took.

Thank you :D

I might not be good at explaining but, for the eyes I make the eye balls first then bake them once. Since the eye ball is baked and harden, you can model around it as much as you want. :D

I actually posted a photo of the steps I took. ([link]) <- this link is one of the steps I took.:)

I tend to lightly bake my sculptures (like 5 min) when I finish the part I was working on so it won't smug or mix color, so I'll end up baking it couple times by the time I'm finished...although there will be a chance of breaking the part you were working on lol.

will that was in high school and i was also volunteering in at the public school as a helper.

now I don't mind much because there is lot more verity in pokemon and I think pikachu fan is a little lesser then it used to be. (since at Fan E xpo'10 Toronto nobody asked for Pikachu)

I actully made this with a type of clay called Sculpty3, It's a clay you can bake in a oven and it get's harden.

I'm not that good with painting acrylic on to figuers, but I used diffrent colour sculpty.

Wow, very nice! I've never used sculpey before, but I hear its awesome. I've been doing all my clay models with play-doh. .

But anyhow, I Love it. Might try using sculpey too :P
